The Bellbrook-Sugarcreek School District will be adding a newcomer to its Board of Education in January, as Anne Pryor won a close election Tuesday night, according to unofficial results from the Greene County Board of Elections.
With nearly 59 percent of the voters turning out, Pryor received 3,133 while incumbent Kevin Price received the second most votes with 2,953. Price returns for a second term.
Pryor will join Price, Mike Kinsey, Audra Dorn and Heidi Anderson on the board in January. They will be sworn in on Jan. 11, 2024.
Kassi Kipling received 2,601 votes while Brian Kronenberger received 2,431 votes.
Results remain unofficial until the ballot certification in the next few days. More than 7,000 absentee votes still need to be counted throughout Greene County, but the outcome is not expected to change.
